I believe my groups soundscape turned out well. We had a plan right from the beginning and we stuck with it throughout. Composing the melody was easy, as both Cameron and I are musically talented. We shared our ideas and created a simple melody. We chose Cameron's haiku, as we wanted to do something different from everyone else. I believe it added some humour to the classroom. I feel we accomplished a lot during the lesson and we managed to complete it on time. During the performance, everyone in the group had trouble staying focused and not laughing. However, I believe the soundscape was created and performed well, in spite of the difficulties we had. Can music save the world? July 4th, 2012
I personally believe that music can save the world. Music has the power to alter moods and can be extremely persuasive if used effectively. Music brings people of all races and beliefs together and is the sole thing in this world that everyone can relate to. All cultures have music, and while the genres may distinquish them, the purpose is the same. To spread a messages and ideas throughout the world, wherever it is heard.
